Code of conduct

The Pan-CLIVAR meeting will be a welcoming, respectful, inclusive and collaborative event. Robust dialogue and exchange of ideas are encouraged, whilst being mindful of others, in accordance with WCRP’s Code of Conduct which applies to all WCRP-sponsored events.

The WCRP does not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind, including sexual or non-sexual harassment, bullying, intimidation, abuse of authority, violence, threats of violence, retaliation, or other disruptive behavior.

If a participant, whether they are attending virtually or in-person, become aware of disrespectful treatment, harassment bullying or discrimination, regardless of whether it rises to the level of breach of this conduct, they are strongly encouraged to discuss it in confidence with anyone from the Pan-CLIVAR Code of Conduct team (names listed below - they can be identified by the yellow ribbon on their badge lanyard) or by emailing conduct2025panclivar@outlook.com (this email alias will be seen by Hindumathi Palanisamy, Joana Gonzalez, and Agus Santoso only initially). All reports and allegations will be handled sensitively and in confidence. Our immediate priority will be to protect the privacy of the person(s) involved and the need for further action will be assessed carefully on a case-by-case basis.
